I'm Françoise De Mare, founder of Stella De Mare and proud mother of four grown children—who are also part of this adventure. Our bond, trust, and resilience have always helped us overcome challenges. This brand is a family affair, born from love and passion.

I studied fashion design in Lyon and Paris, then worked with renowned couturiers like Chanel, Dior, and Lanvin. These years instilled in me a deep respect for craftsmanship and precision.

Later, I lived in New York and Los Angeles—where I raised my children. American culture taught me optimism, ambition, and the power of belief: "If you want it, you can achieve it. Never give up."

When I returned to France, I joined a luxury swimwear brand in Cannes, Monaco, and St-Tropez, serving an international clientele. I immersed myself in every aspect—from styling to sales—learning firsthand what women truly want from their swimwear.

Stella De Mare is the result of this journey. A celebration of elegance, quality, and the confidence that comes from feeling your best.

The complexity is creating swimsuits that embellish your imperfections and make you forget that your body is almost naked.
